How is it different from the Response Checklist?

The Response Checklist tracks what you must address in your reply — every claim, demand, and deadline from the other side. Clause linting evaluates how you wrote it: is liability capped, are terms defined, is the governing-law clause sane.

Is my draft sent to AI providers?

Yes — the lint engine sends paragraph excerpts to Anthropic Sonnet for substantive review. Your draft is encrypted at rest and in transit. With BYOK (bring your own key), the calls go from our servers to your Anthropic account, not ours.

How do I add a custom rule or playbook?

Open Settings → Playbooks → New Playbook. Each rule is a short instruction plus a severity level, scoped to a document type, clause type, or your whole workspace. Custom playbooks run alongside the built-in packs.
