Contract review with tracked changes
Run a jurisdiction-aware review of the open contract. Findings are ranked by severity with the reasoning spelled out, and suggested edits go in as real Word tracked changes that you or the counterparty can accept or reject.
Ask the document
Ask questions in plain language and get answers with paragraph citations. Select a citation and Word jumps to the paragraph the answer relies on.
Legal templates, prefilled
Browse statute-verified templates across jurisdictions, complete a guided form with your firm and lawyer details already filled in from your profile, and insert the result at the cursor or as a new document.
Your clause library in the ribbon
Search and insert approved clauses, save a selected passage as a new clause, and scan the document for modified clauses to record negotiation outcomes.
How it works
Add it to Word
Install Attorly AI Legal Assistant using one of the options below. An Attorly AI tab appears in the Word ribbon.
Sign in
Select any button on the Attorly AI tab and sign in with your Attorly AI account.
Work in the document
Review, ask, fill templates and insert clauses from the ribbon. Your templates, clauses and playbooks come straight from your workspace.
Install
Deploy with the manifest
Microsoft 365 administrators can deploy the add-in to users or groups in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Settings → Integrated apps → Upload custom apps, using the manifest link below. If your organization allows it, you can also add it just for yourself in Word on the web: download the manifest, then choose Add-ins → More Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in.

Security and privacy
Encrypted at rest and in transit. Document text leaves Word only when you run an action, and only to produce that result. It is not stored in your Attorly AI account unless you save it, and it is never used to train AI models.

Is my document stored when I run a review?
No. The document text is sent over an encrypted connection to produce the review and is not saved to your Attorly AI account. Clauses you save from Word and the outcomes you record are stored in your workspace, encrypted at rest.
Does it use my firm's templates and clauses?
Yes. The add-in connects to your Attorly AI workspace, so the templates, clause libraries, playbooks and profile details you use on attorly.ai are the same ones you get in Word.
Can our IT department deploy it centrally?
