Which languages and jurisdictions does Attorly support?

Last updated:

Short answer

The Attorly interface is available in 26 languages, and the AI has jurisdiction-specific legal context for 13 jurisdictions: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Primary-source legal research is connected for a subset of those, listed below.

Interface languages

The application and this website are available in English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Slovenian, Greek, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Japanese and Korean.

You can write to the assistant in any of these languages. Your Attorly Memory settings let you fix the output language, register and length so answers come back the way your team writes.

The 13 jurisdictions

For each of the 13 jurisdictions, review, drafting and the Word add-in carry prompt-time legal context: the legal tradition (ten civil-law, three common-law), the default drafting language and the statutes and market norms that commonly decide a contract question there.

Common lawUnited Kingdom, United States, Ireland

Primary-source research

Legal research retrieves from public primary sources rather than from the model’s memory. National legislation sources are connected for Norway (Lovdata), Sweden (Riksdagen), Denmark (Retsinformation), Finland (Finlex), Germany (Gesetze im Internet), the United Kingdom (legislation.gov.uk) and the United States (Congress.gov, CourtListener, SEC EDGAR). EU law comes from EUR-Lex and is linked to the countries the research registry covers.

For France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands and Ireland, Attorly has prompt-time context and EU law, but no national legislation source yet. Check cited national provisions against an official source.

Frequently asked questions

Does Attorly cover my country if it is not one of the 13?
Partly at most. You can still analyse documents in any of the 26 interface languages, and EUR-Lex is searchable for EU law, but there is no jurisdiction-specific context for other countries. The jurisdiction coverage checker shows the exact level per country.
Can I review a contract in one language governed by another country’s law?
Yes. The interface language and the governing law are independent. The analysis uses the jurisdiction you choose or the one the contract names.
Is Attorly legal advice in these jurisdictions?
No. Attorly provides legal information and drafts. A qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction should check anything you rely on.
